10 Items or Less...?
So I think being short on sleep and just generally exhausted has made me a bit of a grouch at stores (go figure). I certainly don't express my annoyance but in my head I am really thinking about it.
Prime example: the express lane at the grocery store. Last time I checked the sign said:So when I went to the grocery store the other day and the lady in front of me unloaded her 16 ITEMS I felt rage (her leaving her cart in a random parking spot when the cart return was one spot over really exasperated me but I kept it in check!). I wanted to shout "can you not read the sign!!!!".
Talking about this with Cherie she informed me that if you have multiple items, say tins of frozen orange juice, that counts as 1 item. Really? Did I miss a memo on this? Is that true? The lady that caused me rage and no like items I can assure you.

Barry, I agree!! If the "frozen juice" isn't wrapped in plastic to make it 1, THEN EACH TIN COUNTS AS 1!!!!
When the cashier passes it over the scanner it counts how many items get rung in, and each individual "frozen juice" passed over the scanner count as one, two, three, four, etc........
Wow! You can really get angry over this can't you. Now I am somewhat pissed about this!
Yeah. Cherie is wrong. Sorry Cherie. I would be annoyed too.
