So last Sunday there was a THUD against the window. Yep, that's a bird-print.

A bird, a large bird, slammed into my back window in full flight. Aiden and I were sleeping. I nearly peed my pants, Aiden his diaper.

When I looked out back to see if the bird was dead a giant hawk was picking it up and flew away with it. Seriously, this creature picked up the bird in its talons and flew over to the neighbours fence. When I went out back to take a picture, it flew away - bird in tow!!!

Poor thing. I am pretty sure it was a morning dove - one of the ones that normally sits on the back fence - guess it got confused...
