Weird

So I am at work right now. It is just after midnight and I am eating my lunch and surfing the net when I stumble across a story on msnbc.com about the writer of Itsy Bitsy Spider who supposedly died. Except he didn't. An imposter died. This is what the story says:

The Paul Vance who wrote the songs — and provided proof with royalty payments he is still receiving for the hit — said he has been inundated with calls from people who think he died. An owner of racehorses, Vance said two of his horses were scratched from races Wednesday because people thought he had died.

Why are people calling him if they think he's dead. That's pretty inconsiderate. Does he live alone...if he does and he was dead would his answering machine say sorry I can't come to the phone I am dead. Probably not.
