Is It Better...?
Have you ever seen one of those commercials where a new product claims to be better than something you already have.
Today I saw a commercial for this OxiClean Ball, Sounds great. Stays in your washer for 25 loads (I hope it doesn't get mildewy but anyways...) and is sooooo much better. Then they show in the commercial how it is better. "No need to pour liquid detergent or scoop powder again". As they are showing this they show someone pouring the liquid and spilling it everywhere. Come on OxiClean, really is it that difficult to pour the liquid into the cap. Next up, scooping the powder. Actually, in the commercial they show someone pouring powder out of the GIANT box into the scoop...WHO DOES THAT? Oh OxiClean, I am sure your ball is more convenient, but is it really "easier"...

That's like when weight loss infomercials show overweight people as sad, with gross hair and pastey skin and then they lose weight and suddenly they are happy, have blonde hair and are tanned. Or when they show them living in a black & white world and then they lose weight and wow-- colors!!
