The Papergirl Redeemed...?

Its been a while since I posted about the paper girl. It seems that she has perhaps redeemed herself...or did she. Let me fill you in on a little mystery that developed out of this whole papergirl saga. t

I discovered that the papergirl has a helper. This helper often drops papers off at homes for her. Hmmm. Can you see where this is going? So one day Cher and I are in the kitchen and here comes the helper. Up the driveway. Up the sidewalk. She's holding the paper in her hand. Then it happens. Plunk. The paper is dropped on the doorstep IN THE SNOW. I don't think I have ever made it to the front door from the kitchen as fast as I did that day. I opened the door and she was gone. Vanished in to thin air already. So I did what every rational human being would do. I chased her. HAHA. No, I didn't. That would have been good though. What I did do was pick up the paper and proceed to knock the snow off of it by whacking it against the house all while saying (loudly...very loudly) something along the lines of "why would someone think that the pile of snow at my front door is where my paper should go?" and "why do I even have a mailbox". That girl could not have gone far. SHE DOES LIVE NEXT DOOR!!! Yes folks, that's right, the helper is my neighbour.

Anyways, since the fateful slamming of the paper against the house it has now appeared in my mailbox. Maybe the helper heard me. Maybe she didn't and she hasn't "helped" (I hope she doesn't get paid for the help she gives) lately. The other day the paper was even in my mailbox IN A PLASTIC BAG. I could hardly believe it! Like my own little March Miracle.
