VCRs

Long time no blog, I know but I was inspired the other day while I was waiting to get my hair cut. This woman comes in with her 2 kids, 1 pouting roughly 8 year old and the other was probably 2 in his spider man costume. Anyways, he wants to watch a movie on the TV/VCR combo that is in front of me so she attempts to use it. First she rewinds. This is done of course by pressing the rewind button no less than 6 times which we all know is proper rewind technique. She then stopped it by pressing the stop button twice...the stop button which is also the eject button. "I didn't want to do that" she said as the tape popped out. She pushed the tape back in and pushed the stop button twice more. Ugh. Out came the tape. "I just didn't want it to play". One stop would have been adequate. Oh well. She finally got it going and the kid got to watch the movie.

My question is, have we moved into the DVD and PVR age and forgotten how to use the VCR?
