The Lasagna Incident

There was an incident here Sunday night. A very bloody incident...

(Warning: the following blog contains images that are graphic and is recommended for mature audiences only...but its really funny!)

Cherie made lasagna on Sunday night. She used those noodles that are oven ready so no precooking involved. I got my piece and my first bite was extra crunchy. Apparently, part of the noodle on my piece hadn't been cooked so I basically bit into an uncooked noodle. No one else noticed but it was very crunchy and hard on my teeth. I finished my dinner and Cherie says "What's wrong with your teeth?". "Nothing", I say. She told me that my teeth we red so I said, it's from the pasta sauce. She insisted something was wrong so I went into the bathroom and took a look. My teeth WERE all red. So I spit into the sink - BLOOD. Pure blood.

It took a few minutes to realize that my tongue had a gash in it and blood was pouring out of it.

Take a look:

It looked like just a drizzle...

But it was a downpour!!!

Like a scene in a horror movie...
So anyways, after nearly 2 HOURS, yes that's right 2 HOURS of this:
Ice, Ice and more ice (what's really bad is that we didn't even have any ice and had to get some from the neighbours) it still hadn't stopped so I just through away the ice and put my tongue in my mouth hoping it would just stop. About 20 minutes later, it had and it soon healed over...

It is better now, still hurts a bit much better and certainly no blood!

The moral of this story is don't eat Cherie's lasagna - it will hurt!
