Taxi...TAXI!!!

Hello all,

We are back from our vacation and it was great. Lots of time to relax and enjoy life. We spent a 6 days at Cherie's brother cottage and then moved on to my Nan and Pops place for a few days in Brockville. While we were in Brockville, we made a stop at Shoppers Drug Mart at the 1000 Islands Mall. Now of course, you are probably wondering why I am telling you this. There is a good reason of course. I smell a story....

So here's how it goes. First off, let me say that Brockville has its share of crazies, and I think there might have been one in line in front of me at Shoppers. She mumbled to the cashier, "Can you call me a taxi?" "Okay", he says as he gets another employee to do it. The other lady calls the taxi and says "Where to?" She mutters, "Staples". Okay, so you are probably thinking, whats so odd about this. Well, dear readers, let me show you in a map of the mall.

So here you can see why we were all sort of amused by her need for a taxi. Point A is the origin or her taxi ride. Point B is her destination. I think she could have walked there in less time it took for the taxi to arrive. Maybe the toilet paper she bought was too heavy to carry. Of course, the logical thought is that she was only stopping at Staples, before carrying on home but it was still pretty HILARIOUS!!!!!!!
