I Am So Sick of This Roadsign:
Let me tell you a story about this sign. I am sick of it. Every night when I am coming home from work on the 401 I see it. Flashing in the night. Normally, the traffic is not so bad as it is 1:15 a.m. Today though, another story. It took me 25 minutes to get from Harmony Rd to Courtice Rd. For those of you not familiar with the area, this should take less than 5 minutes. Argh. My other rant regarding this roadsign is that first I get on the highway and all is well, then we all move into the slow lane as the blinking arrow tells us to then, for some reason, we all move over into the fast lane in some sort of pylon-lane-shifting obstacle course. Why don't we all just merge into the fast lane in the first place. The other night as I was beginning the obstacle course there was a man standing moving the pylons. Do I get a special reward for hitting him? Yes, it is called jail.
Also, to those who feel the need to wait until the last possible moment to change lanes I have a message for you: I WILL NOT BE LETTING YOU IN. I would rather tailgate the guy in front of me than let you in. That flashing blinking arrow means move over, it does not mean continue on until the lane ends and you can go no further.
Anyways, I think I am done now. Goodnight.

Right On!
I hate those signs too. When you have worked a full day it's maddening when you see all the taillights. And it is late at night when everyone should already be at home in bed but noooooo they are on the 401 in my way and delaying my bed time.
