Why 24, Why?

I am speechless. 24 ended precisely 30 minutes ago and now I will have to wait until January, yes JANUARY, to see it again.

See here is my problem, beware: if you watch it and have not seen it yet read no further.

Usually the season ends with everything neatly wrapped up. The bad guys are dead and Jack is the hero who saved the day (without eating or apparently peeing either). That is how tonight's season finale seemed to be heading too. With 14 minutes left in "the day" everything was coming into its nice tidy wrapper. But no, we couldn't have that could we. We had to have Jack kidnapped, tortured and taken away, then the clock comes up rolls to the next hour and BAM. Done till January. Ugh. Anyways, that's all I have to say about that.

Back to work tomorrow. Maybe have an interview for the Team Leader job I'm not sure I want.
