Today, Assault Phase One Begins

Today, Assault Phase One (from here on known as AP1) began in my backyard.

I should give some history. About a month and a half ago I discovered that my backyard was being dug up by some sort of animal. Slugs, I heard, is what the creature was after. With the wedding coming I was busy but I went to Canadian Tire and bought some Slug Away thing to get rid of them and hopefully get rid of the pest. No go. Didn't work. Preliminary stage over. I lose.

Fast forward to last weekend. The backyard looks like garbage and I discovered that there is something living under my shed. Something smelly. Like a skunk. We have named it Chanel. And she smells. Bad. We filled the hole that was being used to access her Skunk Cave and hoped that would be the end. Of course not. The hole was back open the next day.

So this is where AP1 begins. Today I brought out the heavy arsenal. The war begins. I again filled the hole, using my stealthy moves to avoid any unwanted encounters with the enemy. Once the hole was filled I doused the area with Critter Ridder (what a clever name). I am hoping that AP1 will be a success and the war will be over, short and sweet. I'll keep you posted.
